Warranty
Eizo products are covered by worldwide warranty terms stated in the document "Limited Warranty" (hereinafter referred to as the “Warranty”) that accompany every product. Carefully read the terms to avoid potential future misunderstandings. The warranty period begins at the date of purchase. Warranty service is free of charge, parts and labor included.
Eizo Nordic AB Expanded Warranty Terms
The following is a short summary of expanded warranty terms given by Eizo Nordic AB for Eizo products distributed through Eizo Nordic AB and installed in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
RadiForce
Eizo Nordic AB gives 3 - 5 years warranty on all current RadiForce LCD monitors. The warranty will cover malfunction occurred during normal use.
Current Eizo RadiForce LCD monitors are warranted to preserve the recommended bright level during a certain usage time as long as they are kept calibrated to the recommended bright level and used with enabled energy saver.
Deterioration of display performance caused by the use at higher brightness than the recommended brightness or caused by the deterioration of expendable parts such as the LCD panel and/or backlight, etc. (e.g. changes in color, changes in color uniformity, defects in pixels including burnt pixels, etc.) is not covered by the warranty.
Below is the warranty period defined for RadiForce LCD monitors purchased after 2005-04-01 that are kept calibrated to recommended bright level and used with enabled energy saver:

FlexScan and ColorEdge
Eizo Nordic AB gives a 5-year warranty or maximum 30,000 hours in operation expanded to the entire monitor including the LCD-panel for all FlexScan and ColorEdge LCD monitors.
The 5-year warranty applies to all FlexScan and ColorEdge LCD monitor models manufactured and delivered after 2003-08-01.
Eizo Nordic AB warrants that the recommended bright level will preserve during a warranted time on certainColorEdge LCD models as long as they are kept calibrated to the recommended bright level and color temperature.

Type of Service offered by Eizo Nordic AB
Replacement/SWAP - service is offered the first 3 years. Parts, labor and all freights are free of charge.
Workshop/Send In -service is offered during year 4 and 5 at our workshop in Sweden. Parts, labor and the return freight is free of charge.
Verification of Warranty Status
Eizo Nordic AB will in normal circumstances offer warranty service as per the applicable warranty terms if a faulty product has been manufactured within the applicable warranty period.
The client shall how ever always be able to show an invoice, receipt or other type of sale contract to prove that the product is purchased within the warranty period.
The age of the product can be verified by check of the manufacture month and year that is typed at the rear of the monitor.
On old models the production month and year can be verified by the serial number (S/N). The last three digits of the serial number indicate the month and year of manufacture.
Example: S/N A1234120-EDW means that the product is manufactured month 12 year 0, i.e. December 2000.
If the client has got problem with the validation of warranty please take contact to the, for the region, authorized Eizo distributor.
Pixel specifications
As standard all Eizo monitors are covered by warranty for faulty complete pixels. Furthermore will Eizo Nordic ABcover for sub-pixel fault (red or green or blue) with a warranty exceeding the requirements from the ISO standard 13406-2 class II.
